The Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) team work alongside the Human Resources and Quality teams to form a larger department in support of all other departments in the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES


The role is based in Grimsby, UK and will report to the HSE Manager in the UK. The tasks will be challenging and variable requiring a high level of personal commitment and self-motivation. The tasks will include the following areas:

* Supporting the site O&M team carrying out their duties on the wind farm

* Working with the Service and Customer Managers in collaboration with the site owner

* Developing the company, and industry, Safe Systems of Work to be site specific

* Carry out ToolBox Talks


* Coach site personnel to raise safety awareness and improve the safety culture

* To review, and revise when required, documents in support of the Health, Safety and Environmental Management System.

* Conduct contractor reviews


* Maintain the legal register

* Carry out Incident Investigations


* Carry out site inspections and audits

* The position requires an element of travel to other offshore locations in Europe.

SKILLS AND PERSONAL QUALITIES


* Formal Health, Safety or Environmental qualifications

* A minimum of five


years' experience employed as a safety professional and leadership

skills

* A mechanical, electrical, or large civil works

background
* Wind energy industry preferred but not essential

* English language, written and spoken

* Full Driving licence


* Good

communication skills - willingness to engage with a wide range of stakeholders

in the organisation.
* Flexible and motivated team player

* Employ a


structured and systematic approach

* Ability to take ownership and

responsibility of tasks
